Hey everyone!
I'm sure most of you redirected here from tumblr...so if you did feel free to skip the next paragraph and simply read on.

So today I've spent almost ten hours writing out what was originally a short fic for my friend Banana (from Tumblr). She was hankering for something Klaroline, set in the Hunger Games verse. Now usually, I don't enjoy writing stuff like that, but I heart her and thought of this plot bunny and decided to give it a go. What was supposed to be a one-shot is turning into a longer fic. As of right now, the first part is 10,000 words!

I'm writing it mostly for fun, so I decided to go ahead and post a little preview of it. I'm still undecided on whether I will post it fully or if I will keep it between just a few people. Also, if I wanna put a lot of effort editing wise (haha sounds lazy I know...but this IS something I'm doing just for fun).

If you like it, please let me know. The encouragement will definitely dictate what this story becomes, and let me tell you it's quite the beast already ;)

oh and p.s. I've taken a few liberties with the HG universe, so please excuse any canon inaccuracies. Thanks!!

Here it is!! My new Klaroline AU/AH fic. Thanks everyone for waiting so patiently. Hope you enjoy the first chapter!

Summary: Niklaus Mikaelson is a badboy rockstar in need of an image overhaul. So his publicist/brother Elijah sets him up with Hollywood golden girl Elena Gilbert, hoping she will have a good influence on him in media. When Elena’s publicist agrees, the two are thrown together on her summer press tour around Europe. Elena, dreading spending her whole tour with Klaus, brings along her best friend Caroline Forbes for support. When Caroline and Klaus meet, sparks fly and everything starts to get a little more complicated…

Hey everyone! Long time no see!

I'm back with a little treat today. Hopefully something everyone will enjoy. I had an idea to do a little Kalijah spinoff from Best of Me, since while I was writing BOM, I came up with this whole backstory of how they met and fell in love. I'm just keeping this a one shot though, so don't expect it to turn into a full fic. If you read Best of Me, you know how it ends anyways :)

Hey lasses and lads (you're probably all lasses, let's be honest).

So last time we talked I mentioned a new story on the horizon. It's still coming! I just got really into writing Timeless (on FF.net) and haven't really written anything else except that. Things started getting epic and it just stole all of my attention, you know how it goes. BUT, here's a little preview that I posted on Tumblr a week or so ago. Just for those of you who don't follow me there. 

Also, I think I've read all of your comments about where to post. I think I might do like I did with Best of Me...post the first few chapters on FF.net and then the rest over here. I'm confident readers will find their way and I just love being able to respond to comments :)

“Ok, what happened?” Caroline asked.

“What do you mean?”

“Elena, you’re baking. You only bake when you’re really upset.”

Elena sighed heavily and put down her mixing. “My publicist called me this morning.”

Caroline nodded. “What did she say?”

“Ok you know how it’s kind of an urban legend that celebrities will fake date each other for publicity reasons?”

“Uh-huh…”

“Well my publicist wants me to fake date someone,” Elena admitted, “in fact she’s already agreed to it so I have no choice.”

“Who does she want you to fake date?”

“Niklaus Mikaelson.”

Caroline’s jaw dropped. “Niklaus Mikaelson? Like notorious rockstar never-met-a-bottle-of-whiskey-or-a-slutty-girl-he-didn’t-like Niklaus Mikaelson?”

“That would be the one.”

“Why on Earth would your publicist want you to date him?”

“Well apparently his people called mine and practically begged us to agree to it. I guess his image needs a serious overhaul and they think dating me will help make it better. He’s going to come with us on our press tour and we just have to make appearances together and act like we’re madly in love.”

“So what’s in it for you?”

“Well,” Elena said, “he has agreed to give two million dollars to my charity.”

“You must really love those puppies,” Caroline said, “but I suppose it won’t be completely awful. I guess he’s attractive at least.”

“Yeah. And he’s my costar in my next film, so I have to get to know him eventually. “I just wish that—“ Elena stopped, her eyes lighting up with another thought, “you should come with me!”

“Wait what?” Caroline blinked.

“Come on, I need someone there who is normal. I’ll be surrounded by my manager and publicist and Klaus and his entourage, I’m going to need someone to keep me sane.”

“Europe?” Caroline shook her head. “I can’t go to Europe.”

“Come on, what else do you have going on?”

“Hey!” Caroline shot back indignantly.

“I didn’t mean it like that!”

“I’ll have you know that I have the Miss Mystic pageant I have to start planning for and kid’s cheerleading camp to coordinate next month and my work at the city council office and not to mention Tyler. I think he might propose soon.”

“Oh my gosh really?” Elena said, “I didn’t know it was so serious with you guys. But I guess you have been together forever.”

“Exactly!” Caroline nodded.

“You’re right. You have a life. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to ask you to drop everything for me.”

Caroline felt bad. She listed the reasons she gave in her head for not wanting to leave. But truthfully, none of them seemed that important to her. The pageant wasn’t for months, and cheerleading camp could survive without her, and Tyler…

“What time is the flight tomorrow?”

Elena brightened. “Really?”

“Yes,” Caroline replied, “I mean what girl doesn’t want to be whisked away on a dream vacation to Europe. Granted, it would be better if you were a cute guy.”

Elena threw her arms around Caroline joyfully and hugged her tight. “This is going to be so much fun! We’ll shop and eat and there will be cute guys and it will be the best summer ever!”

Right now, I'm still working Timeless, which is currently being published over on Fanfiction.net. If you haven't read it yet you should definitely check it out!

I have a new Klaroline AU story I'm working and I need help making a decision. I'm wondering if I should take my chances and post it over there, or do like I did with Best of Me and post everything over here. To be honest, I loved posting Best of Me on LJ for the simple fact that I could talk back in reviews.

So what are your thoughts? Let me know in comments! I'll keep you guys updated.

*Deep Breath* I can't believe it's actually over. I love you guys so so so so much for reading this story and sharing your thoughts and encouraging me and supporting me and just being freakin amazing! I honestly never in a million years thought that this fic would get the response it has. I remember sending it to Kady to read on a whim and her enthusiasm for it was what made me decide to post it. So again, I can't thank you all enough :)

If you're following my Tumblr, you know I was resisting the demand to post this because I'm so sad. It's the last chapter before the epilogue and I'm so not ready for it to be over. *le sigh*. But this is a pretty long one, with lots of fluff and goodness so I hope you enjoy it :)
